Pro: I can sit and edit in my pants and no-one cares Pro: No waiting around for a Mac to free up Pro: I can eat within my work space (although this has backfired on me once of twice) Pro: I can listen to my music without the need of headphone (with theĮxception of late night uni editing way before a deadline) Pro: No 20 minute walks home in the freezing cold or middle of the night Pro: I can fall into bed within minutes of a late night editing session Pro: I don’t get freaked out by being on my own on late night editing sessions

Pro: I don’t have to go up/down several flights of stairs if I want a snack Pro: It’s quieter (with the exception of late night uni editing way before a deadline) Pro: Self set deadlines = slightly less stress

It took many, may years of hard study (and more then a few tearful breakdowns) at university to work towards my Masters qualification and now looking back at it while I edit some of my new series it has occurred to me that things I both loved and hated about editing my work at uni I miss now, so in the spirit of procrastination (in all honesty the PC is taking an ages to layer atm) I have made a Pro’s and con’s of editing at home (now I’m no longer a student) over editing at uni:

As some of your know, I’m not a happy snapper who picked up a camera and decided to go pro (well in a way everyone is but what I mean is I didn’t just buy a camera and try and go pro right away with no training).
